On October 24, the Forum on Large-Scale Intelligent Magnetic Separation Equipment and High-Quality Mining Development opened in Lianyungang, Jiangsu, China. During the event, Huate Magnet Group unveiled two flagship magnetic separation products, marking another step in the development of large-scale, intelligent and advanced mineral processing equipment.
Two New Products for Advanced Mineral Processing
The two new products are designed for different mineral processing needs:
- LHGC-8000 MAX 8-Meter Vertical Ring High Gradient Magnetic Separator: Designed for large-scale separation of bulk minerals. Its larger design supports the growing demand for high-capacity mineral processing equipment.
- CGC-1000 Ultra Plus Helium-Free Low-Temperature Superconducting High Gradient Magnetic Separator: Developed for deep purification of fine and ultrafine minerals, supporting high-purity mineral processing.
These new products expand Huate’s equipment portfolio and address key needs in large-scale mineral separation and advanced mineral purification.
A Major Step in Industrial-Scale Magnetic Separation
The event also featured an on-site visit to the world’s first 7-meter vertical ring high gradient magnetic separator, which has entered continuous production verification at a Brazilian iron ore operation.
According to operating data shared by the equipment user, the unit has achieved a single-unit processing capacity of more than 1,600 tonnes per hour. Its anti-fluidization matrix box and intelligent distributed control system support stable operation, blockage prevention and remote maintenance.
The successful industrial application of the 7-meter unit provides practical support for the development of the next generation of large-scale magnetic separation equipment.
Driving Innovation in Global Mineral Processing
The forum brought together more than 100 academicians and experts, research institutions and mining representatives from China and overseas. Participants discussed intelligent mining, high-efficiency mineral separation and green development.
